¿Es la IA un “Excel gordo”, un superloro estocástico o la antesala de algo que todavía no sabemos controlar? Esta semana invitamo a nuestro amigo Guillermo “Willy” Obispo y terminamos metidos hasta el cuello en inteligencia artificial, ciberseguridad y filosofía tecnológica: el Basilisco de Roko, libre albedrío algorítmico, security by design, investigadores que abandonan laboratorios de IA por cuestiones de seguridad, agentes autónomos, modelos resolviendo problemas matemáticos y el eterno debate sobre si la IA destruirá empleos o acabará creando profesiones que hoy ni siquiera sabemos imaginar.
Y cuando parecía imposible subir más el nivel de frikismo, nos vamos al hardware, la retroinformática y las efemérides: modelos Qwen funcionando completamente en local, cientos de vulnerabilidades corregidas por Microsoft y Chrome, FREE-WILi 2, un ordenador entero dentro de un ratón, televisores LG con demasiada curiosidad por nuestra red, el Sharp MZ-80K, el nacimiento del VHS, Voyager 1, Dennis Ritchie, Apple Lisa, NeXT, juegos en papel y una ronda de fake news donde aparecen desde el primer “bug” informático hasta Doomguy corriendo a casi 100 km/h y pollos nacidos de huevos artificiales. Tecnología, historia, ciberseguridad, cacharreo, IA y bastante caos.
