Google Buzz, the new Google

Google Buzz adds own social networking features to Gmail and Google the rest of the world.
You can put content in Gmail from Flickr, Blogger, Youtube, etc.. It also allows automated buddy lists, share both public and private enforcement of any content, and more.
Better check out LifeHacker where they make a deeper analysis of this new Google Buzz.
They have also launched the same service for mobile devices:

And if you want to go and some application programming for Buzz, here's the link to Google Code with its new API.

This sounds a counterattack on Facebook.
Facebook gets in the email, which is probably today, GMail is the one that takes the cake. Facebook announces a mail client itself, which would take advantage of the millions of users who already have and "steal" thousands of them to GMail.
Response from Google, add social networking features to its email client.
If both companies continue their projects, we see a titanic struggle in every rule and end up with 2 huge social networks integrated with their respective emails. We'll see that the role of Twitter in this fight or end up being eaten by one of these giants.
A greeting
PS: this new service will appear in your Gmail account at some point. According to Google are adding this service to Gmail accounts gradually.
